We’re excited to report that the Senate voted overwhelmingly 46-1 to pass the spay/neuter bill. This is the same bill that the House of Delegates passed 113-23 last week.

The proposed law increases availability and accessibility to spay/neuter across the state by creating a special fund. It’s a clear-cut way to saving more animals’ lives and improving individual lives of animals.

Next the bill will go to Governor O’Malley to be signed into law. Thanks to all who took action to make Maryland safe for cats. We’ll keep you updated!
