A colony of feral cats outside Bayside State Prison in New Jersey is at risk of being killed. The cats have been part of a successful TNR program for nearly 10 years, but a new prison administrator plans to hire a contractor to catch and kill the cats. Under staff supervision, inmates have helped with humane trapping, post-surgery recovery, and ongoing care for the cats.

Alley Cat Allies is urging the prison administrator to cancel his planand to work with us and local groups to continue the TNR program.

New Jersey residents: Take Action! Tell Administrator Powell and Commissioner Lanigan to halt the plan to kill these cats and to instead continue to support TNR!
