Alley Cat Allies Offers Grant to Antioch, CA to Help Implement Trap-Neuter-Return for Community Cats
Last week we told you about Antioch, CA’s proposed ordinance that would impose a pet limit law and restrict the feeding of community cats. In addition to asking residents to contact their city council members, we’re also encouraging the city council to take the humane approach to community cats by offering a $2,000 grant for spay/neuter services.
The punitive ordinance proposed won’t decrease Antioch’s feral cat population. To help the community and the cats we have offered our expertise and funding to help establish a Trap-Neuter-Return program.
