The Lake County Board of Commissioners is considering a positive Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) ordinance, but they need to hear that citizens want them to pass the law. The ordinance will allow shelters to practice TNR instead of killing community cats and allow residents to practice TNR. Alley Cat Allies has been working with local law enforcement and the local shelterthey all want TNR, and we want to help support a program. But first, the ordinance needs to pass. It’s important that residents contact the commissioners and attend the public meeting on May 19.
