Good news, New York! Earlier this spring we asked you to contact your elected officials and ask them to support expanding Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) funding in your state through the TNR Funding Bills, AB 2778/SB 1080. Your voice was heard and AB 2778 passed through the New York Assemblynow the bills need to go through the Senate. These bills would expand spay and neuter funds to include community cats who are part of TNR programs. Ask your Senator to help make these bills a reality!

Act nowUrge your Senator to support spay/neuter expansion for TNR in New York.

Outdoor cats have a critical need for spay and neuter services, but currently, New York’s spay/neuter fund is not authorized to support TNR projects. The crucial TNR Funding bill must be put to a voteand you have the power to urge your Senator to contact the Senate Finance Committee and ask them to bring the lifesaving bill to a vote.
