This morning, Alley Cat Allies attended the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners meeting addressing the conduct of Kristen Lindsey, a veterinarian who posted a picture of herself on Facebook holding a cat by an arrow through the cat’s head and bragging about the kill. Statements were given by meeting attendees, including Alley Cat Allies Staff Attorney Rebekah DeHaven.
The board deliberated and announced that they did find Kristen Lindsey in violation.
Details of the violation, and the recommended penalties for Kristen Lindsey, are expected in October. We don’t know at this time if her license will be suspended or revoked.
